The Ionia boys finished in second place behind Lansing Catholic after the third and final jamboree for the season.  Lansing Catholic had 37 points, and Ionia had 43 points. Heath LaPointe finished the race in 3rd place with a Season Record (SR) time of 17:08. Riley Husted had a SR time of 17:37.  Jacob Montgomery had a Personal Record (PR) time of 17:38 to finish in 8th place. Josiah Magley ran a 18:06 to finish in 11th place. Andrew Gerdes ran a PR of 18:11 to come in 14th place.  Harrison Yenchar finished in 16th place with a 18:26. Tyson Evans came in 24th place with a time of 19:03. On the JV team, 7 boys earned Season or Personal Records at the League Meet.  Those new record holders include: Cody Husted ran a SR time of 19:45, Branden Husted ran a SR time of 19:46, Ryan Trierweiler had a PR of 20:09, Cameron Simmons had a SR of 20:18, Zach Vogt had a SR of 20:26, Alex Bushee had a PR of 20:34, and Lincoln Denis had a PR of 23:48.  

The Ionia boys team finished in 2nd place in the league overall. First team all conference earner was: Heath LaPointe (3rd place). Second team all conference earners were: Jacob Montgomery and Riley Husted, who were tied for 8th place, Josiah Magley (11th place), and Andrew Gerdes (14th place.)  Harrison Yenchar earned Honorable Mention for finishing in 16th place in league standings. The next race for the Bulldogs will be on Saturday, October 24th at Spring Lake for the pre-regional race.
