The Ionia Boys’ Cross Country team competed in The Last Chance Meet, featuring a total of six teams and 80 runners. The team earned a commendable 4th place overall.
Jaxxon Thelen led the team, finishing 4th in the race with a time of 18:10.5. He was followed by Liam Thelen, who placed 7th overall with a time of 18:42.2. Connor Morrison secured 12th place with a time of 19:07.8. Xander Towery ran a personal best of 20:07.5, finishing in 34th place.
Junior Dallas Bailiff finished 45th with a time of 20:51.5, while Cooper Highlen came in 47th with a time of 20:56.5. Gabe Holman finished 61st with a time of 22:19.5. Freshman Tylan Daniel achieved another personal record, placing 65th with a time of 22:48.7, and fellow freshman Talon Thompson finished 74th with a time of 23:10.5.
