Other local teams competing included Belding, who came in 3rd with 93 points and Saranac had 98 points to come in 4th. Ionia boys who competed in the race included: Jacob Montgomery (17:47 in 16th place), Riley Husted (17:48 in 17th place, season record), Harrison Yenchar (17:59 in 20th place, SR), Andrew Gerdes (18:38 in 33rd place), Lukas Schafer (19:07 in 43rd place), Tyson Evans (19:15 in 45th place), Demetri Davis (19:15 in 46th place), Connor Clark (19:19 in 48th place, SR), and Xander Lang (19:32 in 55th place). Ionia’s next meet is a home league meet on Tuesday.
