Boys Varsity Wrestling drops 2 duals at Everett

Ionia traveled to Lansing Everett where we fell short in both duals. In round one, Ionia faced Charlotte and lost 60-19. In round two, Ionia wrestled Everett and tied 42-42 losing on the 6th tie break criteria. Ionia now has a dual record of 4-11 this season. Wrestlers going 2-0 tonight were Wade Charon, Richard Charon, Chad Campbell, and Wyatt Berry. Also earning wins tonight and going 1-1 were Aaron Wolthuis, Colter Reed, and Jonathan Rico. The wrestling teams next matches will be as follows: Girls will wrestle this Sunday at Plainwell High School. Boys will be Home next weekend Saturday the 28th for the annual Mike Adamson Invitational.
