The JV Volleyball team traveled to Lakewood to play in their league tournament.  The girls had a slow start against Olivet, but was able to pull out the win in three sets 21-25, 25-22, and 16-14.  In their second match of the day, they faced off against the number one seed, Lansing Catholic.  The girls started out strong and then road a little bit of a roller coaster in play.  They fought hard but came up short in three sets, 25-20, 26-28, and 12-15.  In their final match of the day, again the girls couldn't quite find consistent play, but they were able to fight through it and come from behind to beat Charlotte in two sets 27-25 and 25-23.  This placed them third in the tournament.

The Bulldogs were led at the net by Amelia Griffith with 18 kills, while Danica White put down 16 kills and Ariana Frias added 14 kills. Griffith had two blocks and Marley Piselli had one. Isabella Gallagher led the attack with 23 assists and Emma Hoppough put up 14 assists. Piselli led the team at the service line with 16 service points and one ace. Avery Hoppough added 15 service points and Gallagher had 12 service points. Kaya Clark came off the bench and was able to deliver 11 service points with 4 aces.  Griffith had 10 service points and also had 4 aces.  Avery Hoppough led the team defensively with 67 digs, while Frias added 34 digs.

The team is now 19-8-3 on the season.  They will travel to Hastings on Wednesday, October 30th to play in their last matches of the season. Go Bulldogs!
