JV Volleyball loses to Portland

The JV Volleyball team lost to Portland tonight in three sets, 25-20, 21-25 and 7-15. The team was led at the net by Amelia Griffith with 7 kills. Marley Piselli, Ariana Frias and Danica White each had 3 kills. Isabella Gallagher put up 7 assists and Emma Hoppough had 4 assists. Gallagher also had one block. Piselli led the team at the service line with 8 service points and 5 aces, while Kaya Clark added 4 service points and an ace. Avery Hoppough led the team defensively with 22 digs and Frias had 9 digs.

The team is now 17-7-3 on the season and 5-2 in conference play. The girls will be back in action on Saturday, October 26th in Lakewood for the league tournament.
