Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball wins against Lakewood HS School

LAKEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: 1.00
The JV Volleyball team went to three sets against Lakewood tonight. The girls were able to pull out the win with scores of 25-19, 20-25 and 15-8.
The team was led at the net by Amelia Griffith with 8 kills. Ariana Frias chipped in 6 kills and Danica White had 4 kills. Isabella Gallagher led the offense with 15 assists. Kaya Clark and White led the team at the service line with 6 points each and Gallagher and Griffith added 5 each. Avery Hoppough led the defense with 24 digs and Frias and White both had 8 digs.
The team is now 3-1 in the league and 14-5-3 overall. The girls will be back in action on Thursday, October 10th at 5:00pm at home against Alma.
