CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 43
On Wednesday, November 13th the 7th Grade Bulldogs traveled to Charlotte to take on the Orioles. A disastrous 2nd quarter led to the Bulldogs dropping to 0-3 with a 43-33 loss. Despite the rough 2ndquarter Ionia kept battling and competed through to the end.
Jacob Roman again led the team in scoring with 13 points, including a couple of three-pointers. Austin Henry pitched in with 7 points while Travis Teaker and Hudson Hawley each had 4. Roemon Russell and Lorenzo Lopez had 2 points and Karson Crosby added one with a free-throw. Lorenzo Lopez had 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Neithan Cruz-Pagan also had 6 rebounds along with 2 steals and 2 assists. Jabob Roman had 5 rebounds and Austin Henry added 4. Graham Lower had 3 rebounds and forced 4 turnovers defensively.
The Bulldogs travel to Olivet on Monday, November 18th for a 4:30 game against the Eagles.
