ST. JOHNS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0
The Girls Volleyball A Team played their season opener against St. Johns tonight. The first set was a back and forth battle as each team brought a bit of heat behind the serving line. Ionia persevered and won 25-21. The second set had the Lady Dawgs settling in and finding their rhythm. The team played together and won 25-15. The third and final set of the evening was won by Ionia behind solid serving and team work. The team served well tonight and will set their sites on Lansing Catholic at home on Wednesday. Come out and support your Lady Dawgs. Go Blue!
