The Ionia Bulldogs 8th grade B volleyball team took on Saints Peter and Paul tonight. Brooklyn Castillo had an impressive 12 aces in a row and 6 additional service points while Avery Rowley and Aubreana Velasquez each added one ace. The girls came together as a team and defeated Saints Peter and Paul 25-2.
The second and final set of the night also let the Bulldogs display their strong serves with Alissa Castillo knocking down 5 great aces and multiple service points. Avery Rowley had 3 aces and 2 kills as well as an assist to Lydia Struble who added a solid kill. The back row players were ready on defense and did not let a ball drop. Overall the Dawgs played well and defeated Saints Peter and Paul 25-4.
The Ionia B Team Dawgs are 7-1 so far this season. Please join us tomorrow as we take on Waverly at home. Let's Go Bulldogs!
