The 8th Grade Ionia Volleyball team took on Eaton Rapids at home tonight. Cora Nummer started the night off strong with 7 aces and Kiara Goodsell added two kills. Bella Delgado also had two aces and the girls communicated well! Emma Patterson and Brooklynn Burhans each had a nice block. The Bulldogs took the first set 25-18. Chloe Zander had a great second set and had two kills and a few nice digs! Danica White had strong communication and served well. Marley Piselli worked hard from the back row and served strong. Despite their efforts, the Bulldogs fell short in set two, barely losing to the Greyhounds 27-26. It all came down to the final set. Ionia was ready to claim the victory and pushed hard to win the final match. Effective communication and critical service points led the Lady Dawgs to the final set victory over Eaton Rapids, 15-12.
