The 8^th Grade Bulldogs Volleyball team took on Mason tonight on the road. The B Team Bulldogs got off to a strong start with Bela Delgado serving 6 aces nearly in a row and an additional 2 service points! Marley Piselli followed suit adding 2 additional service points. Kiara Goodsell also had several nice serves. Despite being aggressive behind the end line, the Bulldogs fell just shy in game one losing to Mason 26-27. The second set started off with some errors on serve receive but Aubrei Nash didn’t let that stop her from serving up an ace. Kiara Goodsell had several nice digs as well. The Lady Dawgs couldn’t put it all together and fell short 21-25 in the second set. Eager to fight back and overcome their first two losses, Ionia worked hard and came together in the final set. Better communication and clean passes led the Bulldogs to a third set victory over the Mason Bulldogs! Ionia took the set 17-16.
