ST. JOHNS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0
The 8th Grade Lady Dawgs Volleyball team came out with high energy tonight, ready to take on St. John's in the season opener. Cora Nummer led the team starting out with some strong serves. Bella Delgado followed suit with several nice assists from the front row. All of the girls did well transitioning and staying positive! The Bulldogs took the first set 25-15. The second set started out the same, with the girls quickly regaining serve possession. A few mishaps in the middle of the game shook the players, but they did not give up and fought hard for each point, leading them to a 25-22 victory in game two. All of the girls worked together to communicate and play their positions on the court. With the final match underway, the Lady Dawgs served strong and were aggressive at the net, taking them to a 15-8 victory over St. John's.
