IONIA- Ionia dropped their conference opener to Sexton 18-14. Travis Tucker Jr. led Ionia Ionia with 66 yards rushing and had 35 yards receiving. Brennan Brownell scored both of the touchdowns for Ionia and had 7 tackles. Killian Campbell led Ionia with 9 tackles and Henry Castle had Ionia 6.5. Ionia played incredible hard but was a few plays short in the end. Ionia hosts Portland next week in the annual Purple game at 7:00.
