LAKEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: 7
IONIA- The Bulldogs got their first win of the year beating Lakewood 42-7. Ionia finishes the year at 1-5 (0-4). The Bulldogs rushed for 403 yards on the night and held Lakewood to only 108 yards of total offense. Coach Rhynard was very happy with his team's physicality, "We played hungry tonight. We were the more physical team from start to finish and in a rivalry game that is always extra special." The Bulldogs will await their first round playoff opponent, which will be announced on Sunday evening.
