PORTLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 42
IONIA- The Bulldogs fell to 0-5 on the year and finished the conference season at 0-4. Ionia turned the ball over four times which helped Portland jump out to a 28-0 halftime lead. Portland pushed the lead to 42-0 in the fourth quarter. Rhynard continues to see his team play hard, but needs to see the transition into taking care of the little things so that his team will become more competitive. Rhynard said, "The effort is there, and has been for several weeks, but the little details required to be successful are not consistent right now." Ionia will host Lakewood on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00.
