The Ionia Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Comstock Park tonight to take on West Catholic in Regional Semi-Final action. The Bulldogs got out to a slow start in the first set and even after a few runs at a rally were unable to turn the momentum, falling in three sets. Londyn Brown continued her relentless defensive efforts tonight keeping the Bulldogs in several key plays and tallying up 20 digs while Tess Griffith added 12. Rajalyaj Esquivel had a strong night at the net with 2 solo blocks. On offense Griffith once again put down some monster swings racking up 10 kills while Wachowski added 3. Mikaiah White paced the offense with 13 assists. She also had the only ace on the night. The Bulldogs finish a strong season 25-10-3. Thank you seniors for all of your hard work and leadership, we will miss you! Great work Bulldogs!
