CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 13
The Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Chsrlotte tonight for another league match up. The Bulldogs came out strong working well together to put away the first 2 sets. The third set had a few missed connections, but they rallied back in the fourth to finish strong and remain unbeaten in league play. Defense had a big impact on tonight's overall play, with Londyn Brown picking up 20 digs and Drew Wachowski adding 10. At the net on defense Rajalyaj Esquivel had 4 solo blocks. Offensive leaders for the night were Tess Griffith with 11 kills, while Esquivel added 7. Mikaiah White and Grace Droste both dished out 7 assists. Wachowski had a strong night behind the line with 3 aces. The Bulldogs move to 3-0 in the CAAC White and 13-3-2 overall. The Varsity will travel to Hastings on Thursday for a quad starting at 5pm. Great work Bulldogs!
