GREENVILLE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 25
The Ionia Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Greenville tonight for a non-league match. The Bulldogs worked hard and capitalized off some great plays, but were unable to close out the match falling in 4 sets. Tess Griffith led the offensive effort with 15 kills, a match high for the season, while Rajalyaj Esquivel slammed down another 8. Mikaiah White dished out 17 assists on the net for the night. Drew Wachowski and Esquivel had a strong night serving with 2 aces apiece. On defense Londyn Brown was once again all over the court keeping 23 balls in play. Griffith, Esquivel, and Emma White also added 2 blocks apiece at the net on defense. The Bulldogs fall to 8-2-1 on the season, but are looking to come back strong when they travel to Mason this weekend for a tournament. Great work Bulldogs!
