Traveled to Sexton tonight for a White Division showdown. It was a bit wet which made for a difficult day in controlling the ball, but that added to the excitement. Inside the first fifteen minutes, Matt McCoy almost found the net a couple of times when he was played in from the wing. In the first half both sides pressured the other pretty well. Possession was difficult to maintain with the weather being a factor.

In the second half the boys identified some of the issues that needed to be addressed and set about addressing them. They played better together and spread the ball around a bit more changing the point of attack. This provided the space we needed to convert on some of our attacking plays. 

In the end it was a closer scoreline than we would have liked but we did get the deserved win.

Scotti Kimber - 1 - Sealed the victory with a sprint from the centerline, out-racing the defense.  That's seven goals in six games.
