Ionia 0 - Eaton Rapids 2.

A Divisional match-up brought Eaton Rapids to town tonight. The Bulldogs were without several players tonight and the match was expected to be an uphill battle against a solid team. Our objective for this game was to focus on our defensive side and try to limit our mistakes in the back by playing as a more united group. It was the kind of game where there was really no dominant team although Eaton Rapids was able to generate more offensive pressure. That pressure stung us midway through the second half where we had a lapse of focus and they snuck in a couple on the run due to our miscues.

We lost the game but we saw substantial growth in areas of our game that we had been struggling with earlier this season. So even though we have had a rough patch recently we're going to work things out and there will be a lot more good things to come from this team.
