LAKEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: 6
A hot game tonight. So hot we had to move it to Ionia for a later kick-off.
It was not our best performance tonight and Lakewood was able to take advantage of our inconsistencies. This is natural for a team still getting used to each other so we'll continue working on it. More to come from these guys.
Zane Sarka led in goals with 2 to bring his tally to 9 goals in 4 games. Senior Carter Casteel smacked a penalty attempt into the back of the net to earn his first goal of the year. As a keeper, Alex Barr came back into the team with a strong showing before a brief run-out on the field.
