GREENVILLE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Tough one tonight as Ionia wasn't able to get on the board against Greenville. Greenville is a solid team and they were going to challenge us all game long.
We started the game brightly and made chances that had Greenville feeling lucky to have escaped without conceding. However, Greenville got on track pretty quickly and were able to make us pay for light team-defending. We started the second half two goals down and came out to start the half with a more unified effort. As the half wore on, our energy levels faded and Greenville were able to see out the game but for a few Bulldog attacks that fell short.
Next up: Home vs Lansing Catholic - Tuesday, Sept. 20. JV @ 5:30 pm Varsity @ 7 pm
