Disappointing loss tonight away to divisional foe, Eaton Rapids. We came out mostly flat, lacking communication, focus and competitive spirit. This was a match that was ours for the taking if we had come ready to play however ER was more energetic and not afraid to get stuck in. They nicked the only goal of the game midway thru the 1st-half largely on a pattern of play we had been practicing in training and so that serves as a good illustration to the lads of how that play can be successful.

In the second half we managed to get some of our bite back but by then, Eaton Rapids knew we would be dangerous and threw nine players into defensive positions to protect their lead. their plan worked and we were unable to unlock their defense for the equalizer.

Tomorrow is a new day and luckily a new match. So, we have a chance to learn from this one and move forward.
