CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Ionia traveled to Charlotte tonight with a four game win streak on the line. We were prepared to face a resurgent Charlotte team that had some success early in the season. We started the match on the front foot and really kept the pressure on throughout the game.
It was a game where our attack did their job and our defense did their job. And after all was said and done, we left Charlotte with a solid 5-0 victory to extend our run of wins to 5. this was also our first win to open our conference play.
Next game is 6:00 pm Monday, Sept. 1, at home vs a very tough St. Johns team.
