Tonight, Ionia traveled to Waverly for a 6pm kick-off.
The Bulldogs were in a confident mood after their recent successes and were looking forward to playing this match. We received a quick wake-up call when Waverly got the first break through the defense and put us under pressure. We responded well after the threat and we took control of the game after that.

With 17 attempts on goal, it was one of those games where we had several chances and took advantage of many of those opportunities. It took a while for us to break the deadlock but once we did, we continued pushing for more and our persistence paid off.

The team is coming together and beginning to support each other which is great to see. Looking forward to seeing them further develop those relationships.
