With only 5-6 starters from a season ago, we were unsure how the team might perform.
But the guys played very well tonight. We were able to control most of the game in the midfield which was a top priority for us. We were able to cut off a lot of what Belding was trying to accomplish and from there build quick attacks. For moments when Belding did get through our defensive line really had it covered.The players did a great job of playing with possession and our off-ball movement was strong as well.

So, many positives on the night and it's a great sign when you have goals with assists. That means our passing game is working.
Shout out to Lance Atkinson who earned his first win in goal.

We'll be at it again at home on Friday night against Lansing Eastern with kick-off set for 6pm.
