The Ionia Girls Track and Field Team Loses to a Distance Loaded Lansing Catholic Team

The Ionia Girls Track and field team traveled to Eaton Rapids on Wednesday May 8th to compete against CAAC White Opponent Lansing Catholic. The girls were defeated by Lansing Catholic 85-52. The Bulldogs earned 12 PR’s and won 5 of the 17 events in the process. The loss brings the Girls team a final Dual Meet record of 2-5 placing them 6th in the CAAC White division. The final placing will be determined at the CAAC White Championship Meet on Wednesday May 22nd also at Eaton Rapids. The Bulldogs are next in action on Tuesday at Charlotte for a “Last Chance” meet and the MHSAA Region 15-2 Meet, next Friday (5/17) in Mason.
