The Ionia Girls Track and Field team competed at the 2024 Central Montcalm Hornet Invitational on Friday April 26, 2024.  The Bulldogs tallied 6 PR’s and earned 11 medals at the meet.  As a team they finished 4th in the Green (big school division).  Following is the Event scoring and final placements for the boys side of the meet:

Medalists for Ionia were:

Ella Udell 8th in the 100M Dash (14.03) PR AND 2nd in the High Jump (4’-6”)

Carleigh Thompson 7th  in the 3200M Run (14:09.15) SR

Mimi Wegener 7th in the 300M Hurdles (53.93) AND 1st in the Pole Vault (10’-0”)

Lily Reams 6th in the Shot Put (30’-7”) AND 4th in the Discus (85’-6”)

Makenna Waterman th in the Shot Put (30’-7”) 

Jadyn Gardner 6th in the Discus (85’-0”)

Logan Thomas 6th in the High Jump (4’-6”) AND 5th in the Pole Vault (8’-5”)

The Bulldogs are next in action at Portland for a CAAC White Dual Wednesday May 1st.
