The Ionia boys bowling team fell 18-12 to Lakewood today at Buddies on the Beach.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 618 pins to Lakewood’s 826 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Ryan Perry’s 140 followed by Trevor Hodges’ 129.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 886 pins to Lakewood’s 780 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Trevor Hodges’ 243 followed by Christian Miller’s 206.  The Bulldog’s lost the series 1606 to 1504.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Vikings team 335 to 332.

The JV boys team fell 20-10 to Lakewood.  The Bulldogs were led by Taggert Loucks’ 126 and Logan Miller’s 111 in match #1.  Dallas Bailiff’s 120 and Taggert Loucks’ 105 led Ionia in match #2.

The varsity boys are 3-6-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the league.  The boys will be back in action on Friday at the Wagon Wheel to take on the Raiders of Portland.
