The Ionia boys bowling took on the Orioles of Charlotte last night on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley, coming away with a 22-8 victory. 

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 886 pins to Charlotte’s 797 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Vincent Flohr’s 240 followed by Christian Miller’s 198.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 905 pins to Charlotte’s 827 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Vincent Flohr’s 226 followed by Myles Perrien’s 198.  The Bulldog’s won the series 1791 to 1624.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Orioles team 393 to 388.

In the JV match the Bulldogs won 29-1 over the Orioles of Charlotte.  The JV was led by Logan Miller’s 167 and 161, Steven Flohr’s 158 and 154, and Aaron Wilford’s 154.

The varsity boys improved to 6-1 overall and 6-1 in the league.  The boys will be back in action next Thursday when they take on the Vikings of Lakewood at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
