The Ionia boys bowling team traveled to City Limits East and came away with a 16-14 win over the Cougars of Lansing Catholic!

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 781 pins to Lansing Catholic's 828 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Christian Miller’s 215 followed by Miles Perrrien’s 185.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 814 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 708 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Trevor Hodges 203 followed by Christian Miller’s 191.  The Bulldog’s won the series 1595 to 1536.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Cougars team 342 to 309.

The JV boys team were short handed tonight bowling with just 4 players and fell to Lansing Catholic 20-10.  The Bulldogs were led by Roelynnd Russell’s 153 and Logan Miller’s 93 in match #1 and again by Logan Miller’s 143  and Roelynnd Russell’s 96 in match #2. 

The varsity boys are 2-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the league.  The boys will travel to Char-Lanes on Tuesday to take on the Orioles of Charlotte.
