The Ionia boys bowling took on the Cougars of Lansing Catholic tonight at the Ionia Bowling Alley, falling 19-11.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 613 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 731 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Jared Sobleski’s 145 followed by Christian Miller’s 139.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 721 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 713 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Christian Miller’s 153 followed by Vincent Flohr’s 148.  The Bulldog’s lost the series 1334 to 1444.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Cougars team 289 to 265.

In the JV match Ionia lost 18 to 12 to the Cougars.  The team was led by Ryan Perry’s 136 and Aaron Williford’s 118.

The varsity boys are 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the league.  They will return to the lanes next Wednesday against Eaton Rapids at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
