The Ionia boys bowling suffered their first loss of the season to a strong team from DeWitt 20-10 on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 912 pins to DeWitt’s 908 pins, the Bulldogs were led by TJ Cox’s 243 followed by Mason Hodge’s 179.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 848 pins to DeWitt’s 933 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by TJ Cox’s 191 followed by Brett Petersen’s 181.  The Bulldog’s lost the series 1760 to 1841.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Panthers 355 to 332.

The jv team was able to take a 21-9 victory ove the Panthers.  Leading the way for the jv bowlers was Seth Wandel with a 164 followed by Vincent Flohr's 141, and Taggert Loucks 133.

The varsity boys are now 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the league.  They will look to bounce back tonight against the Lansing United team at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
