The Ionia boys opened the season with a 27-3 victory over the Greyhounds of Eaton Rapids on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 817 pins to Eaton Rapid’s 516 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Trevor Hodges’ 213 followed by Vincent Flohr’s 188. In match #2 Ionia totaled 807 pins to Eaton Rapids 452 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Vincent Flohr’s 194 followed by Logan Miller’s 179. The Bulldog’s won the series 1624 to 963.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Greyhounds team 364 to 176.
