WAVERLY MIDDLE SCHOOL: 52
The 8th grade girls faced a hard team tonight, falling to Waverly by a score of 52-17.
Ionia moved the ball really well on offense, allowing multiple players to contribute to the score. Leading the Bulldogs was Ava Benedict with 6 points, followed by Elle Lepley with a nice 3 point shot in the third quarter. Ryley Helmes, Gena Rogers, and Olivia Lemke all scored a bucket, while Jordyn Ciganick and Ash Ellsworth both hit a free throw.
Ionia is now 0-5 on the season. They will host Lakewood on Wednesday, February 7th at 5:45 pm.
