The 8th grade girls basketball team traveled to Charlotte tonight and defeated the Orioles in a close game 45-36. Scoring for the Bulldogs was Logan Thomas with 19 points 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 5 assists. Avery Hoppough added 17 points and 6 rebounds. Bella Delgado had 4 points and 6 rebounds. Kennedi McDirmid added 3 points from a big “and one” and pulled down 3 rebounds. Emma Hoppough had 2 points but was big on the boards with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The Bulldogs now have a record of 4 -3 and take the court again on Wednesday, Feb 22 at 5:50 at St Johns hoping to bring home another win over the Redwings.
