CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 59
The Bulldogs hosted Charlotte for their first home game of the season. Ionia was able to keep pace in the first quarter but was down 14-9. In the second, Charlotte extended its lead and going into halftime, Ionia was down 31-15. In the third quarter, the team came out slow and Charlotte continued their good play. The Bulldogs only managed 2 points. The fourth quarter was played pretty evenly. The final score was Ionia 26 and Charlotte 59. Leading scores were Ryder Willingham with 8 points and Noah Jordan with 6. Other scores were Maysen Pertner with 4, Kage Hixon with 3 points, Isaac Bonoite with 3 points, and Anthony Meyer with 2. The team is now 0-3 on the season. Their next game is Monday, November 18 at Olivet.
