EATON RAPIDS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 31
Tonight the Bulldogs traveled to Eaton Rapids. It was a very competitive game and one of the best all-around games the Bulldogs have played all year. At the end of the first half, Ionia was down 16-17. Eaton Rapids was able to keep the lead at the end of the third quarter, 22-21. In the fourth, the teams continued to battle it out. With 3 seconds left and Eaton Rapids up by 1 point, they tried to inbound the ball. It was stolen by Noah Jordan who took it the other way and shot a 3-pointer at the buzzer but came up short and Ionia lost 31-30. Leading scorers were Maysen Pertner with 8 points and Bastian Downs with 7. Others who scored were Anthony Meyer with 6, Noah Jordan with 5, Eli Sangillo with 2, and Bently Smith with 2. The team is now 0-6 on the season. Their next game is Wednesday, December 04 at home against St. Johns
