HASLETT MIDDLE SCHOOL: 40
Tonight the Bulldogs got their first win of the season beating Haslett 52-40. Ionia jumped out to 7 point lead in the first and never looked back. At the end of the first half, they were up 27-15. They continued to put on the pressure in the third and lead 43-25. Haslett made a late run but the Bulldogs were able to hold them off. Leading the way was Riley Yokom with 23 points, Jude Gregory with 9 points, Cole Petersen with 5, and Andre Shepard with 4. Five other players scored 2 points. It was a great team victory. Ionia is now 1-6. Their next game is Thursday at Charlotte.
