Tonight Ionia traveled to DeWitt. We knew it was going to be a challenge traveling to play after a long break. DeWitt jumped out to a 10 point lead after the first quarter and led 23-13. Going into halftime we were down 15-27. We played better in the third quarter which saw both teams score 13 points. In the fourth, we were unable to cut into their lead and lost 58-38. The leading scorers were Harper Duell with 12 points, Riley Yokom with 11, Caiden Sayers with 6, Rowan Spearman had 3. Mason Clark, Andre Shepard, and Cole Peterson each had 2. The Bulldogs are now 0-5. Their next game is Wednesday at home against Eaton Rapids.
