WAVERLY MIDDLE SCHOOL: 58
The Bulldogs traveled to Waverly to take on the Warriors for their third game of the season. Ionia was able to keep it close in the first quarter and we're down 9-4. Waverly was able to break it open and led 30-8 at halftime. Ionia played hard throughout the second half but lost the game 58-18. Leading scorers were Riley Yokom with 10 points, Harper Duell with 4, Caiden Sayers with 2, and Andre Shepard with 2. The Bulldogs are now 0-3. This Wednesday they look to get their first win against Holt at home.
