The Ionia 8th Grade B Team finished their season with a great win over Mason, 48-40. The Bulldogs started off strong in the first quarter and led 16-13. They had a letdown in the second and trailed at halftime, 24-25. At the half, we talked about finishing the season strong and they did just that. They outscored Mason 21-15 in the second half. With some clutch baskets at the end by Charley Frost Ionia beat Mason to end their season 4-1. Leading scorers were Charley Frost and Nolan Lundstrom with 10 points each, Jackson McMahon with 6 points, Gavin Elvert, Miles Perrien, and Elijah Goins each with 4 points, Trevor Hodges with 3, Ryan Lee and Jaxon Palmer each with 2. Great Season Boys!!
