WAVERLY MIDDLE SCHOOL: 56
Tonight the Bulldogs hosted Waverly for their last home game of the season. Even though the team did not win the players continued to play hard. There were some good takeaways from the game as a team. The final score was Waverly 56 and Ionia 28. Leading scorers were Aiden Washington with 9 points and Carson Schmid with 6 points. Grant Starks and Cody Waterman each had 4 points, Bryce Shattuck had 3, and Bryce Schmid had 2 points. The team is now 1-8 on the season. Their last game of the season will be Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Portland.
