Tonight the Bulldogs traveled to Lansing Catholic for their second game of the season. It was a very rough start for Ionia who at halftime were down 38-12. In the second half, they settled down and were able to score more efficiently outscoring Lansing Catholic 16-15. The Bulldogs were able to keep Lansing Catholic scoreless in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs lost 53-28. Leading scorers were Carson Schmid and Grant Starks both with 10 points. Other contributors were Bryce Shattuck and Bryce Schmid each with 2 points and Guy Ferguson chipped in 2. Ionia is now 0-2 on the season. Their next game is Wednesday, Nov. 15 at home against Charlotte.
