Tonight the Bulldogs traveled to Charlotte. The team started off strong and took a 23-16 lead into halftime. It was slow in the third quarter with very little scoring. In the fourth Charlotte was able to come back from an 8-point deficit and win by 5. In the fourth quarter, Ionia was unable to hit a basket and was outscored 13-0. Final score Charlotte 32 and Ionia 27. Leading scorers were Evan Jones with 8 points and Cash Hummel with 7 points. Other contributors were Kadyn Ross with 4, JJ Christensen with 2, Ethan Wenzel with 2, Daniel Gilmore with 2, and Sam Montgomery with 2 points. The team is now 1-7. Their next game is Wednesday, December 7 at St. Johns.
