FOWLERVILLE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 54
Tonight the Bulldogs hosted Fowlerville. It was another slow start for Ionia and they fell behind in the first quarter 18-7 and never recovered. They spent the rest of the night trying to fight their way back. They had a nice push in the second half but the lead was too much. The final score was Fowlerville 54 and Ionia 37. Leading scorers were J.J. Christensen with 14 points and Kadyn Ross with 7 points. Others who scored were Ethan Wenzel with 6, Jude Gilmore with 4, Daniel Gilmore with 3, Evan Jones with 2, and Teddy Sprank had 1 point. The Bulldogs are now 1-6. Their next game is Monday, December 5 at Charlotte.
