Tonight the Bulldogs played Haslett. The team started slow and was down 7 at the end of the first quarter. They fought back in the second and were only down 31-25 going into the half. In the third, they struggled to put up points and found themselves down by 9. They rallied in the fourth but were unable to get some key stops and lost 57-48. Leading scorers were Colton Piercefield with 14 points, Wolton Sandborn with 10 points, Carter Ralston with 8, Mason Braman with 6. Dawson Leland had a strong defensive game and chipped in 5 points. Nolan Hart had 3 and Matthew Audia had 2 points. Ionia is now 3-4. Their next game is Thursday at Charlotte.
