Tonight Ionia hosted Eaton Rapids. This was their best game playing as a team.  In the first half, we came out slow and could not find a rhythm.  Eaton Rapids took a 20-8 lead after one.  The guys responded and cut the lead to 7 going into the half.  At halftime, we talked about playing as a team and getting everyone involved and they did just that. At the end of the third, the Bulldogs were only down by 4.  The fourth quarter saw the guys outscore Eaton Rapids by 4 points and with a clutch basket by Wolton Sandborn send the game into overtime.  In overtime, we were able to hold them off and come away with a victory, 61-59.  Leading scorers were Colton Piercefield with 23 points, Wolton Sandborn with 10 points, Carter Ralston with 9, Nolan Hart with 9, Mason Braman with 8, and Dawson Leland with 2. The Bulldogs are now 3-3.  Their next game is Monday, December 6 at Haslett.
