J.W. SEXTON HIGH SCHOOL: 0.00
The JV Volleyball team hosted Sexton tonight for their purple game. The Bulldogs came out slow and finished strong defeating Sexton in two sets 25-14, 25-5.
Leading the team tonight at the net was Marley Piselli with six kills and Amelia Griffith and Brooklynn Burhans both added three kills. Izzy Gallagher put up ten assists. Griffith led the team with 14 service points with 4 aces. Gallagher had 11 service points with 6 aces and Bella Delgado had 8 service points with 5 aces. Avery Hoppough led the defense with six digs while Ariana Frias and Gallagher both had five digs.
The team will be back in action on Tuesday, October 1st at 5:00pm when they travel to Lansing Catholic to take on the Cougars in a conference match up. The team is now 2-0 in the conference and 13-4-3 overall.
